Maria is a kind soul who is willing to hear you out and then execute a road map to help you become a better you. I have being able to move forward thanks to her genuine and loving way of holding me accountable and teaching me how to navigate life. She will not tell you what to do but will ask the proper questions and have the difficult conversations to make realize what your strengths are and how to work with your weakness. She is awesome!! Her retreats are also great. Very inspirational. I am glad I met her because today, I am a better me because of her. Thank you so much Maria!!!!

Hi Maria I was at a very low point in my life as well as just always supporting caring individual Where was always open she always had an open door at our office for you to pop in if you were close to her like I was and still is to this day she is just the most best form of guidance you can get is Toughlove but has genuine love and that is what we need more of Maria has one of us people like that and I’m sure you careful I have a MLA no matter where I am as always there and I can walk in and get that love and guidance you need Cause I never really had that growing up she’s hot missing a lot of light in things but I’ll look at the dark thank you Maria for all you’ve done For me as well as others we are truly grateful

You have the ability to empower your audience; even when going through some of the toughest, darker details of your story, your storytelling is always uplifting and empowering. When I first meet Maria I quickly realize how amazing and professional she was, but most importantly how phenomenal of a person she is. In my time at STCC, She was the person I ran to whenever I had a problem with any of my classes or anything related to the campus. She even helped and guide me with certain situations in my personal life. Maria always made sure to answer whatever question I had and if she don’t know the answer at the moment you can’t bet your life that she would get back to you with an answer. Her kindness made me feel as if I was one of her own. This gave me and many other students the confidence to reach out to her whenever we needed. As I or other students would leave her office she always reminded us that her doors were always open to us. Thank you, Maria, for everything you have done for me it is always truly appreciated.

Maria is the most kind-hearted woman you will ever meet. She goes above and beyond for all her students and makes sure they have the right tools to succeed in life. If it wasn't for her I honestly don't know if I would have finished My associate degree at STCC. She helped motivated me and kept me on track. Throughout my college career, I did hit some bumps in the road but she would always say (that okay mijo you got this keep on going and my door is always open) This is one of the things that set her apart from many. She treats you like you are one of her own. After completing my (AS) Degree she motivated me to continue getting my bachelor's degree and checked on me after I left STCC from time to time. When she checked in she would remind me that even though I was no longer at working with her, she was still there for me and that if I ever need anything feel free to reach out. I am proud to say that I have successfully finished my BA degree and now I am working on my master's degree. So thank you so much maria for all you have done and all the guidance you have given me. You are truly a kind loving soul who is doing great work in your community and making an impact in many people's life

Maria Zayas was my advisor for the transfer student to a four-year school after I graduated from STCC. She has been working very closely with several universities that I applied to and was I accepted into all of them. Since then, things have changed for the better, with counseling me out of the abusive relationship, and I am no longer in an abusive relationship. She is exceptional, the most professional person I have ever met. She listens carefully, is very companionable, and speaks from her heart, feeling your pain. I walk into her office without even calling or making an appointment, but she is eager to see me, a kind soul. I strongly advise anyone seeking assistance in any situation to contact her.

If you are really looking for success and self-discovery Maria is the person you need to work with! I can speak for myself and many others when I say you will feel empowered and motivated to accomplish your goals after any coaching or trip you take with Maria. I took a trip with her, and it was one of the best I have taken, very memorable. Maria is very passionate when it comes to what she does, and you can feel that.
